RE: Meeting results from the 12/01 parent rep meeting.
Attendees: Cynthia Howe,
Wendy Barros, Brian Sherer, Tabetha Sucharzewski, Terry Hayward, Lori
and Jerry Terino, Sarah Witty.
There was a great turnout last night, excellent participation, and thank
you to everyone who volunteered for post snacks and the game clock.
Discussion Points:
1. Board Meeting Report
> The next
board meeting is scheduled on 12/6 at
parents are welcome to attend.
2. Coaches Report
> Please contact Coach Dan or Kyle if your child can not attend
a game.
> A reminder for all games: arrive 1/2 hr prior to game time.
> Dan has requested 5 minutes, to give a pregame and postgame
talk to the team, w/out parents.
3. Volunteers needed for: snacks, game clock, and concession stand
> Post Snack Volunteers:
12/03: Terry Hayward
12/04: Joe and Eileen Williams
12/11: Cynthia Howe
12/16: Holly Braswell
12/17: Sarah Witty
> Game Clock and Scorekeeper:
12/04: Brian and Vern
12/11: Murray and Jerry
> Concession Stand:
Sarah will use the contact list, by alpha, to create a
parents list/schedule for concession stand support.
Squirt parents will attend concession stand for mite
games and visa versa, so parents won't miss their childs
game, time will also include a part of open skate.
4. Equipment Check
> Reminder to check all equipment: helmet check for any loose
screws, all pads are good, skate laces are good, skates are
sharp. Don't forget neck protectors. They provide safety
for any injuries due to skate blades or pucks.
5. Issues, Concerns, or New Ideas
> None. Please contact Brian or Vern for any issues or concerns.
6. Misc Items
> Nancy Redfield, Brian Sherer, and Vern Braswell will be
managing the call list to notify Parents of canceled games
or practices.
> Please note that the next 2 Mondays have a late practice of
the next board meeting.
> We would like for everyone to get together for pizza in
Lyndonville, after the game. We hope you can attend.
> Sarah requested support for volunteers during the Alumni
game on January 1'st. Please let her know if you can help
out.
> We would like to schedule a family event to attend a KUA
game, keep posted for the date and time.
